 Another helicoptor picture... It's how I get to work every day, and is about the only method of transportation avaliable when you're in an area this remote.

It was shot on the fly without the challenge in mind. The weather has been dismal out here all week, and this shot seemed to fit the category the best. Fire away...


RE: the comment about the chopper hovering: agreed, it would be a cool picture, but i would never subject any lens to that kind of abuse. rotorwash + dry creekbed = 100mph sandblasting

Very good shot of the 500 landing on unsatble rock and capturing enough of the countryside to emphasize the photo's title, well done.

I think if the helicopter was hovering would be really neat. Still a nice shot. Colors look great.
