I'd RATHER take that out with a club anyway! Those look ripe though; if you use a wedge you might be able to slice them at the same time as the ball and enjoy a snack.

Very clever, fun and nicely composed. I like the sharpness of the cactus (ouch!) and the rich greens and reds. The white of the ball seems a bit blown out, though.

Golf ball appears blown out. I've been there though.

Funny idea, but the ball is a little washed out.

yikes. Thanks for the chuckles, from a fellow golfer. Jacko. 8

exposure hurting, but good concept

The brightness of the ball is a little too harsh for the photo. I think it detracts from the sharp prickers of the cactus. Otherwise, it's a great composition.

=`) lol, yeah....I always play in the rough stuff....i don't live where its THAT rough :) but I still feel your pain!! I wish the ball logo wasn't so blown out....everything else is in great color. nice pic.

Amusing. I can't really see this as having action though, and would consider it to be more of a humorous or still life photo. Technically I like the composition, however the ball is extremely blown out and it bothers me that you can't make out any detail, let alone barely being able to see the name on it.

great idea but very contrasty losing detail on the ball

Interesting shot, but the golf ball seems a bit overexposed. I would HATE to play that lie! :-(

Action-1,light-3,composition-8,dof-5,contrast-8,5 from me!

Hahaha, that's a tough shot. :) The ball is a little blown out in the color on the top.
09/15/2003 10:34:44 PM
very funny. the ball seems a bit too bright, but other than that i like it. nice shot.
09/15/2003 08:45:47 PM
So, how many people told you the golf ball was over exposed?
09/15/2003 07:52:42 PM
very tough job to expose this one correctly. White objects in the light usually get blown out.
09/15/2003 05:31:18 PM
Nice concept! The only thing that bugs me is that the golfball is overexposed and it loses a lot of detail...
09/15/2003 03:11:03 PM
Nice shot.. the ball is a bit overexposed, but I'll blame that on the sun, not the photographer ;)
09/15/2003 10:21:49 AM
Cute idea. Sun is a bit bright and washes out the colors at the top. I do like the idea and the lower portion is very nice.
09/15/2003 10:18:06 AM
Exposure on the ball is really hot - the white is blown out
09/15/2003 09:46:57 AM
I like the humor of it! The ball is a bit too brightly exposed, though.
09/15/2003 02:51:43 AM
Ouch!
09/15/2003 12:36:03 AM
Gee I can see how this can be a sticky situation.
Ball is a little Blown out but I can live with it.
09/15/2003 12:14:19 AM
funny idea. wish the ball wasn't so overexposed though
09/15/2003 12:10:00 AM
