Empty bottle of sambuca, liquid drizzled on the surface to the glass, full shot glass of sambuca, lit the liquid and clicked the shutter!! Took a few attempts and the image isn't exactly what I was looking for, but I ran out of Sambuca!!

How this only got 5.8, I don't know - I think it's a great shot, the composition is brill and colours are cool, I really like it.

I also really like Morning Calm and Besides Derwent ;-)

Interesting shot. I, of course, love the flames and the colors they've produced, the focus looks rather soft on the bottle though I think more fill light would help make the focus better. That said I think removing the bottle from the image entirely would help alleviate some of the focus issues since the flames and shotglass seem to be fairly focused. With this being the fire challenge I would think that just the flames in the background and the shot glass on its own would really make a striking image, especially with the pure black background behind it and the flames on the ground framing the fiery shotgloss. Might be worth revisiting to give that a try. I gave a 5

Great use of props not to overpower the fire with the bottle etc as some others have done in this challenge

This is cool :) I had hoped someone would do the Sambuca and you've done it well. Unsure if it's just that my eyes are failing me today, but the focus seems a touch soft? Love it all the same :)

Nice balance. Nice color in the fire and I like the border. Good Job.

Good setup and I love the blue flames. Only questions is, that shot glass didn't hold the whole bottle of liqurur...what happened to the rest? LOL :) 9

teh flame on the glass seems a bit a bit noisy but the flame on the "table" i think looks fantastic. Id have cropped out the glass completely. very nice border. 7

Fun shot! Only one small thing, increase the DoF to get the bottom of the bottle in focus. Very Cool Image 8

This would be much better without the bottle. It doesn't match, is rather dull compared to the flames on the table and in the shot glass, and is a distraction from the main event.

nice composition, flame is not sharp enough.

I like the concept - I would have prefered it without the bottle, keeping the colors to just orange and blue. Or perhaps if the bottle label was orange or blue that would have worked as well. As it is I am not hugely fond of it but I do think it is a good shot and I like the idea a ton.
