| Good color in the fly. The image would have been better if the fly fulled the frame more. Nice detail in the skin and hair though. More contrast in the fly would bring out more detail. |

Lighting is mediocre, lots of negative space, nothing truly of interest in this shot.
Perhaps reading about the rule of thirds will help you in composing your photos. For this shot, even placing the fly in the bottom left corner of the frame would have helped immensly. |

softnening the skin tone would highlight the fly better
