I am certain that a few people will question how this was done. So, I am including full details.
I took a self-portrait, cropped it and printed it in B/W on regular paper with a laser printer (if I could have gotten a photo quality print this probably would have been far better). Then I laid the print in bright sunlight and stood so the camera's shadow framed my face in the portrait. I set the camera to expose the shaded area, and wash-out the bright areas.
--------------------------------
editing with Gimp:
adjust curves, guassian blur, increased brightness, decreased contrast, adjust levels, adjust curves, adjust levels, crop, scale, add border, scale, save.
--------------------------------
Loading on to the web seems to pixelate this a bit, not sure why... my score will probably be lower because of it. |

Original idea, and I can't wait to find out how you did it. I'm not convinced that the end image is that aesthetically pleasing or involving, though. Bonus points for being different and for the technical interest! |

This has taken me a week to see, but then again I guess I hadn't read the title, because the second I did I saw it. Yeesh! |

Very,very,very nice. I gave it a 9.
I don't really see that many pictures here that say something.
To me, this one really does.
Very creative and well-executed!
I hope you do well in the challenge. |

I like this shot a lot, and have no idea how you did it, but it doesn't seem to be a camera taking a picture of itself. |
