Good lighting; it shows off the sculpted contours very well.

The bright blue sky really helps to frame the statue and make it stand out. Beautiful vivid shadows and bright reflections in the statue really help make it come alive. The angle that you made the shot gives it great interest and makes for a good composition.

Nicely captured (Thanks for giving the artist credit!) Except for the glare, I don't see much that YOU added to make this art your own (see site rules on Other People's Art - I don't agree with the masses that this rule only counts with flat art) Solid focus, clear background. 7 Rob the Swash

You could have chosen a different focal point. His mouth and nose is nice, but the eyes are not nice and sharp, and they need to be.

Good detail and nice exposure control - these things are harder than the look to capture effectively.

The blue background seems to have a lot of "noise". A slight Gaussian Blur in Photoshop (if you have it) would have helped a bit. Not too much though or it would start blurring the clean features in the face. Nice shot though -- it's simple, it's clear. Is that one of the Rodan's in Philadelphia btw?

too much sun glare on his face, maybe if this photo was taken at a different time of day that could have been prevented.

Rodin? Is this one of his sculptures? Nice angle.
