He looked around the corner at me and I took the shot. It’s amazing his apparent expression and humanization of action is peering around to spot me. The detail in the full image is amazing in his eyes. To me it is like looking into a whole new world.

that thing is real isn't it!

Looks a little over 'exposed', otherwise interesting!

That looks disgusting...

This is kind of a funny shot, humorous that is. This could have some potential if the lighting wasn't so harsh. Needs to be sharper as well. Best of luck to you in the challenge.

The flash is a bit much, and at the same time it adds an alien creepiness to this reptilian face.

Not a particularly great photo...a little washed out...but it certainly is creepy looking. For that I'll give you a 5

Is that thing real? It looks fake to me.

Aside from that, the dead-center subject, lack of sharp focus, and harsh lighting/shadow all detract. Trying to think of a suggestion for how you could take this better, I'm wondering what it'd look like with a dimmer overall picture but the eyes lit up with a flashlight. And no flash or a light source with some tissue or something to diffuse the light. 3.

mmm, too bad your flash really hit the subject hard. Maybe try bouncing it off a piece of foamcore or something. The lizard guy is pleasantly creepy. Still, I gotta give a 4 for the flash.

Flash is a little harsh on this.

Holy crap, if the challenge category were "Scary" you'd have won for sure. But this certainly counts as mysterious if you know that guy is lurking in the darkness. Nice.

5: there is something wrong about that creature - it looks false

Aaaaaaarrgh...what the hell is it? Mysterious, yes indeedie but a bit harshly lit with a full frontal flash
08/21/2006 11:30:03 AM
a bit over exposed

When this is all said and done you have to post a thread telling us what the hell that is!
