Bob, I think I see what you were trying to do, but it winds up looking to me like an old film print from the 70s. Or maybe that was your intent?
If you want to go for an old-time feel, see what it looks like in B&W, maybe with some grain thrown in? |

Looks like you used a fog filter on this one. I know that telltale cast it leaves, because I use one all the time. I think that it could have had a bit more color correction to brighten it a little, and just a slight contrast adjustment. Not enough to take away the soft focus, but enough to give it a bit more zip. I will share with you, though, that generally the folks at dp really tear apart images taken with a fogmaker filter. They honestly don't like them. Even so, you did much better with your score than I did for my soft focus. |

Although I dont find the subject very interesting I think you have got the effect of soft focus nicely here :o) |
