 Tacked a piece of black felt to the wall, lighting is a cloudy day as seen from the skylight in my living room, just took off my t-shirt, wrapped the ratchet cord from my dolly around my head, and started shooting - all hand held, no tripod. Balanced against my knees. I don't expect much from it since it isn't a splintery brown rope and angst doesn't tend to play well around here.

I love this shot it should have scored much higher! Great light, great composition, great idea...
But unfortunately shots like this which show pain, desperation, anger or anything similar don't do well here (as you already wrote). Continue to make 'controversial' shots there are enough folks who love them!

I think that for shots with dramatical purpose the black and white is better.

Not really depicting rope...but a great shot for Migraine. However, I would have cut the bottom couple inches off. I think the strap detracts from the over all impact.

I love the tones here...lots and lots of detail, which is always a good thing...very nice lighting, solid composition, etc, etc. Should definitely finish top 15 or 20ish.

I was thinking 'noooo not another bondage shot!' when I read the title it made perfect sence! Great concept. The bra strap is distracting, I would have removed it completely.
