Pulled out some of my magic tricks and layed them out on my handkerchief to take some pictures. Just with in the items above you can do well over 100 tricks.

It clearly meets the challenge, which for me starts it at 5.

However, this is a pretty dead-on take on some magic tricks. Nothing too dramatic about the layout or the lighting (which is flat). Try playing with lights next time to create some shadows or try a lower angle.

It's reasonably sharp and decently lit, though, so it's still a 5.

It fits the challenge, is clear and in focus, and lit well enough - 6.
To do better from here, it would need something else to somehow make it exciting (sorry, don't know how or what). As it is, it feels too static and dull, a bit like a photo for insurance or instruction purposes.

I never really like centered photos of things on a solid background. Just doesn't get me excited. For what is here, the lighting in nice and focus is on. 4
