So this is my photo that I apologized before hand for its flaws. Very obvious once I was sober. Word of advice, don't drink and photograph at the same time. The culprit for this photo was the gin and orange fanta mix.

Very cool concept! I would have appreciated a deeper DOF to get the gloves a bit more in focus IMHO.

The softness of the hands puts the attention right to the cards, though I think that a deeper depth of field would still have accomplished this. I like the composition here, and the formation of the cards, too.

Clever idea. It would be much improved if hands were also in focus.

I like how you blurred the hands to put the emphasis on the cards. I also like how they fan out - it's a nice shape. This is a good example of how centering the objects can work well. How'd you do it? 6.

Looks to be a familiar photog.

Clever. Your border really got hosed in your PP. Personally, when I have a subject OOF, I don't like it to be nearly blown. The DOF is good, but the lighting isn't. I wonder what it would have looked like to light the gloved hands from below? (Maybe worse) 5

A little out of focus, but great idea

Creative idea. I think the cards should all be in focus instead of the just the top.

I knew there would be at least one of these photos in here! Im not a huge fan on the border/frame, I just dont think it adds anything tot he phto. The gloves are a bit over exposed, I would imagine because of the exposure on the cards...

not as sharp as I'd like it to be and the highlights in the gloves are a bit blown out ... cool idea though ...

Cool idea! I like the depth of the pic. Did you apply the blur after you added the border, I wonder if it would have been better the other way around?
