The upper rock is a bit blown out, but I like the soft focus

I'm not really sure what it is, and it's not all in focus. It could have done better with a more interesting background as well.

I'm guessing you meant to use soft focus here, but it's so soft I'm not sure what I'm looking at. It's an interesting angle, but the lighting is so flat as to hide a lot of details. I also don't see how this relates to magic or mystery, even with the title. Be careful about assuming cultural connections - let your image convey the challenge theme without relying too heavily on the title. 3.

It's a cute plant but I'm not sure I'd call it mysterious...I'm also having trouble finding any part of the picture that's completely focused...

DOF? I'm not sure were my eye is supposed to be drawn but I can't get by the largest OOF bud.

Is that soft focus or NI? The mushroom things are blown too much. It's a static composition and the blemish in the background should either be gone or be everywhere for added texture. I'm gonna have to go with 3 on this one. Sorry.
