I like the idea and the subject as well as the comp. However, its obvious that you blurred the background in PP. (I know because I do the same to create a false DOF that is impossible to get with a Point and Shoot.) The problem here is that it's inconsistant on this photo. There a spot between the performers leg and the ladder that is sharper even though it shouldn't be. The woman watching too. Good luck and this is only my humble opinion.

Now if the performer were a mime then I would understand the look of disgust on that ladies face - but how can you hate a juggler? Funny shot. A little sloppy on the selective blur but entertaining none the less. You should send a copy to teh performer - I know he would apprecaite it.

Nice shot and meets the challenge well. I had to laugh out loud at the expression on the face of the lady in white. What's her problem?? I mean the guy is balancing on a ladder & juggling....what more does she want in order to crack half a smile! Maybe she paid for his college education? :) Bumping to 7.

Dont care for the selective blurring of the BG. Assuming that you blurred everyone excpet for the lady in white.

Why was there one woman in the croud that was left un-blurred? She keeps drawing my eye away almost as if she is the focal point.

Tighten the shot around this face, ball and clubs, with a swath of flag. The rest is kinda incidental. My opinion. I hate cutting stuff too, but sometimes I'm glad I tried it.

good catch, but the photo looks strange on some parts

Sorry, but I don't equate juggling and magic. He may well have done magic at another point, but not here. It's a funny picture outside of this challenge, and I like your composition aside from the flag at the top. And the woman's face is hilarious! DNMC but a decent photo otherwise nets a 4 from me.

I just love the chick in the white. She just makes the photo in a candid sense. If she could only see herself. I'm quite guessing you singled her out as the DOF could not naturally have gone to blur as quickly as you did. The choice to do that was excellent. 8

The first spectator is a little distracting. Just missed on the DOF maybe?

5: great expression on the juggler but I wish the woman in white wasn't in focus so much

Sorry, but the lady that is in the background is a little creepy. My eye keeps being drawn to her. I wish she was blurred as the others in the picture.

The mystery is why the woman in white is so pissed at him...hehe

I love the faces in the back ground, the lady with the sun glasses on her head does not seem all that impressed and I really like the way she stands out...

nice 'catch'... hmm, did you manually blur all the people except for that sour face in light yellow? did you want us to see her for a reason?

Nice candid! The blur of the background could have been neater.
