Very nice composition Jimmy! The DoF with your processing gives this a 3D feel. The butterfly really stands out and has such a great presence in the shot. The color contrasts help this feel a lot. Very nicely done, well composed, very well captured. Nice work Jimmy!

Did you mean to say 'Fairy Kiss'? ;^) The way this has been processed gives the butterfly a 3D feel, which is cool. I'm trying to figure out how the tail end of the butterfly has decent details, yet the tips of the wings look blurred or smoothed (noise reduction maybe?). DOF could be impacting this view as well...hmmm. I look forward to coming back after the challenge and visiting your comments in the photographers comment section.

Maybe I'm unfamiliar with the idea that butterflies landing on you are faerie kisses. I like this photo, although this close in I'd crop it to zoom in on the butterfly.

But I don't see how this meets the challenge. 4.

Mmmm, I miss those butterflies. Haven't seen them here in WA. I think they were a dimorphic species of swallowtail? Anyway, the blur, or NI, or whatever of the background does give a nice fantasy feel. Nice processing. I'm actually not quite sure what the big brown thing is. I thought a leaf, but I'm not sure. Gonna go with 6. Just a tad oversharp on the butterfly.

it does have a magical feel...love the colours in the butterfly, but not 100% convinced on the composition...I would have gone for a tighterr square crop...but lovely image 7
