| i must be partial to patterning and natural settings. nice use of focus and framing to direct the eye. |

| Nice choice for B/W treatment and for a shallow DOF. You even managed to keep it off-center, which is challenging for the subject you've selected. ;^) |

| Love it, hope it scores well. Love the textures in both the rope and the piece of wood. The BW processing has really done a gret job of highlighting this. I like the DOF choice here. Only complaint is I don't care for the composition. This begs to be centered in the frame to add symmetry to the list of admirable qualities of this shot. Very nice, hope you do well. |

| I love the breadth of the exposure, it has the quality of a slow tech pan film I love. I am especially partial to the contrast in texture; organically weathered wood along side the smoothness of the rope. I am not as sold with the composition of the overall image. The angled piece of rope in the forefront is nice as is the tied in the rear. The even wrapped pieces in focus...how would it look slanted on an angle while keeping the focus as it is? Is "used" a take on the weathered wood and pieces of rope? |
