| The sailboat really adds to this shot as does the green floating life in the foreground. Overall seems to be lacking sharpness and may be due to it be a small section of a much larger image? |

| The picture does not look sharp on my monitor and the colours look a bit off. I also think getting in closer would make for a better picture. The house is placed fine for the composition, but there isn't anything to draw the eye to it. As it is the lighthouse and the boat competes for attention. |

| nice scene wish the photo was cropped tighter losing the telephone pole on the left and was sharper in focus. |

Composition: 3 - Its very centered and uninteresting to me, but you did follow near the rule of thirds with the horizon placement.
Technical: 2 - The whites are overexposed and there are halos around things from poor sharpening. If you used USM, try using a smaller radius, 0.3 or 0.4 for this sized photo.
Creativity: 3 - This straight on shot could be improved by experimenting with more dramatic angles.
Appeal: 1 - Sorry, this doesnt hold my interest at all, with its dull colours, poor processing, and uninteresting subjects.

| a nice image, but the poor resolution quality will bring your score down. you either need to raise the resolution in your camera, or save differently for hte web. |
