 ...not even on an old weathered watch. This watch is at least 25 yrs old. Still ticking. I've had the idea to capture the movement of the second hand for a while now, I finally did it. I took hundreds of pics but there was something wrong with all of them. Too many scratches, glare, all sorts of problems. I finally got one I can live with.

I don't think I need to tell you what the shutter speed was tho, hehe you should be able to tell just by looking at the pic.

I can't remember what aperture I used, I kept fiddling with it for hours and who knows which one I settled on for this pic.

Ah!! Just what I was suggesting for one of the other entries - the sweep hand blurred. Pity the watch is not "newer" scratches on the face glass lessen the overall impact.

The lighting is too uneven, with blown highlights at the top and lower left.

The edges are blasted out, and there is no particular part of thise photo that my eye is drawn to.

I like the blurred second hand. Nice action shot of passing time. However, the watch is really warn, and isn't appealing to look at. A clock with some personality might have faired better.
