| Time of day and deep shadows have caused a lot of lost detail here, as well as the harshness of the ground cover. The tusks certainly jump off the page though. |

| Your shot would have been more effective from a different angle, so we could see the detail in the subject. |

| This shot has a lot of potential, but there are a few problems that keep my vote lower than it could've been. The lighting is harsh, so you lose a lot of detail on the boar's face. The dead center composition can work well in a closeup, but here it doesn't really grab me. And the animal is so close in color to the dirt that my eye yearns for more contrast. |

| For me this shot has the focal point just in front of where it should be. My eyes go to the piece of ground to the front of the animal, rather than the animal's face. |

| seems very balnd to me. the animal matches to close in color to stand out IMO. can't really see much detail on him either. |
