Great character study - perfect processing. 10 from me - and a bonus for having Bear, DE on the hat :)))) |

Very interesting, not sure about the PP, maybe would have been better as high contrast b/w? Good Job though! |

Not sure what this is saying to me. Seems just a portrait to me. But some nice pp done. |

this is so cinematic! i love it; the selective desat is evident, but it feels natural and the application has been sucecssful. everything is bang on perfect here; the colours, the composition, the stylistic elements. a fantastic image that really stands out from the humdrum. the guy in the shot has so much character! and it has a sense of motion that is both appealing and feels very real. a really deserved 10. |

the selective desat is not really working for me here. the processing onthe man is interesting though. looks like you have a nice sky back there that has lost everything in the desat. I know the truck was most likely destarcting but I think I would ahve prefered it in color to get the trees and sky. one thing you could have done if the truck had too much color and was overtaking it is to select the truck and partially desat it maybe -30%. the truck would still maintain some color but it would be much more subtle and less destracting and if done well would not stand out at all. |

Interesting subject and composition. A bit too grainy for my taste. |

beautiful picture ruined by selective desaturation. I'll give you a 6 for the picture that's hiding behind this one. |

I would love a title that made me wonder about him. |

Composition: 8 - Very nice, showing the character in the man's face as well as part of the background. I'd have preferred him to be looking into the frame rather than out of it tho.
Technical: 6 - Some overly bright spots in places on his face, but other than those the high contrast approach works well.
Creativity: 5 - You do show a lot of the mans character in the shot, however you choice of background is obscured mostly by black so I can't tell the situation well.
Appeal: 5
Overall Calculated Average Score: 6 |
