I think the men in the movie used canoes, but this kayak thrown out in the woods seems to fit the movie well...levels, curves, usm, hue/saturation, cropped.

I like the contrasting colors on this photo. Comp could've been a bit more off centered. Just my humble opinion.

I think the photo is a little under exposed.. could have shown richer colours. 4 for me.

Love the composition and subject, find the lighting a little flat, and maybe a very slight blue cast? A decent shot though :)

Great, now dueling banjos is stuck in my head. Thanks. :) Great setup. The focus seems a little soft but overall very good I think.

While the darkness of the image adds to the atmosphere I think it is a little too dark and flat. I think a little increase in saturation would help a lot.

As soon as I read the title I thought "yes!". This scene is reminiscent of the deep backwoods lining the Cahulawassee River and the displaced canoe represents lost life (to me). Makes me want to rent the movie again after all these years....

yellow vs dark green was a good choice in coloring - would also make a great black and white too.

I guess this is supposed to be dark to portray creepiness, but to me the photo is just a little boring. Good concept, though.

I know the movie, but can't remember if this scene was in the movie, so I am not going to vote. From just a photo point of view, it could be a bit brighter. just my opinion though.
