This seems to be identical to "Reach for the Wood" from the Fress Study XII challenge, which would mean a DQ for both.
But looking at it as a photo ... it doesn't really grab me. Maybe with higher contrast, it would. I think it also might benefit from not as tight a crop. Part of the interest seems to be the contrast in size between the two wooden figures, so I'd like to see more of the larger one.
However, unlike in the Free Study, I'll give you a point for meeting this difficult challenge in a creative way. |

hahahhaa.. .nice... and funny... you may geta few DNMC but it's a technically good photo and it's sharp... and the B/W post-processing is good... 7 for me.. :) |

It's always a risk using Woody. I like woody photos. I submitted one myself. But, if they are done well, they should score well. This one, to me, is done well. I like the black & white. |
