CONGRATULATIONS, Erin!!! Yes, this photo is hauntingly beautiful. Those eyes! They go so deep! It's like you've captured his soul in a photo! It's ageless. . .the kind of photo that never grows old. Sometimes after a photo's been in a frame for a while, and the child changes, you just get ready to replace it -- but this one -- it will be awesome forever!

Great shot. I can even see your silhoutte in his magnificently clear and beautiful eyes. Curvaceous. ;)

you nailed this its fantastic, i love the crop! i think the arm on the right hand side sets the mood for the whole image without it this would have been just a well executed portrait but its MUCH more than that.
be very proud of this image, your son will thank you in 10 years time i assure you.

Nicely captured.
Great contrast in a soft, yet dynamic, photo. Would have liked to have seen her full chin in this shot, but the photo is still very good. |

| this is a great portrait. the b&w tones, focus and clarity, details on the eyes and editing are perfect. did you consider trying a square crop leaving the arm on the right side out of the picture? the composition might look nice like that as well. |

I'm on a crappy computer in a hotel somewhere in Canada at the moment..but this picture made me actually sign in so I could comment.. From what I see here.. I pretty much love this shot.. the closeup and framing is awesome.. those eyes are stunning.. mesmerizing actually.
I cant wait to see this on a good monitor :)
