Interesting shot and DOF, would like to have seen some color correction on the skin tone, unless he really is that color *wink*

Would grab me more with sharper focus and more contrast. I like the long, tall crop, though.

I think a tighter crop would have made this a lot better with having a lot less forehead in it, thus placing the eye less dead-center.
Overall could use a white balance adjustment to render more realistic skin tones.

a little sharper would help imo, but i like it! 6

Nice tight crop

I like the composition but it's a bit darkish/underexposed to me. An adjustment using levels brightens it up quite a bit.

something about the angle is making the nose look off to the left. your composition does get the point across however

you need to tinker with the ol white balance to get the most out of this one

There's not really enough in this to grab me.

The colour doesn`t look good.

could use a bit of sharpness on the eye, and not really fond about the crop

The eye is too soft and the nose in focus.

Gives me an odd uneasy feeling. maybe just becasue it makes me feel so close to the models face like i'm in his "personal space" lol. nice composition.

This is goping to sound brutal, but please take this in the way it isntended, as an honest critique.

The lighting is really not helping here, its flat and provides no definition. The eye is bang central, both vertically and horizontally, it may have been better to have it higher or lower, just to break up the composition. Also the eye looking away reduces the impact.

All in all a fairly non-descript image which with some thought could have been much much better.
