Indeed, thanks GeneralE, I think that might have been the case. Of course, even when you're drifing in a kayak you've got to keep a paddle in the water or the waves will twist you around. That is assuming you want to stay facing in a particular direction.

Hey that's nice! The ONLY thing that might have helped is if both kayakers had their paddles down. The one on the left could be drifting in that pose, but could be paddling too, and that probably hurt with cranky people looking for a reason to knock off a point or two.

I like the lighting/coloring and soft look you gave it as well.

This is very nice. The horizon seems slightly tilted from left to right, but not enough to really harm the photo. I'm not exactly sure what effect you used to soften the picture, but I really like it... along with the soft orange/gold coloring. Great entry.
