 Taken at home, with my first mini studio setup.

Although not that close, it was taken in macro-mode and my E20 can only get 20cm from the subject so unfortunatly, I can't get as close as some people.

One glsss filled with water & marbles, placed on a chair with some cheap coloured card behind.

I played with the lighting for a while and decided on direct light from above. I used a office lamp to light the whole scene, and window light. Lighting from above really gives it it's oomph.

Really like the composition and colors of this - however I would experiment with lighting - my eye is drawn more th the top and bottom of the glass than what I want to look at - which is the marbles. Very good DOF:)

Might have been nice if you could get even closer to just include the marbles

this has an "almost" feel for this viewer - slightly less sharp than it needed to be

I like this glass of marbles but I don't care for the red background.
