"I love texture," says my wife, "but the rich red of the bricks fights with the weathered aspect of the cement. IMO the yellow bricks detract from the red bricks & should be cropped out." I agree & I agree with her that we both love the image.
I am actually afraid to have her open her own profile on DPChallenge because though she is a hair designer by trade, she has potential to be a much better photographer than I am, even if it's just a hobby for her. :)

this is a great wall, with all the different layers of materials and colors. i dig it. nice photo.

Cool. The textures here are great. The wire going across and piece of wood in the corner help create a composition that reminds me of post-modern expressionist painting. This is actually very similar to my entry but I think yours has more intesting ... uh ... non-subjects :]. 8

:) really wonder how it would look in b&w. Its strange but not bad... sill I doubt majority will find it artistic enough.
