OK....this is not the 9th building study I've....more like the 9000th but what the heck. Anyway, this is portion of the Wills Eye Hospital Building. I found a new angle that I liked. I wish the light had been better but the colors came out more even from the diffused gray day that was today.

POST: Convert from raw in PSElements 3.0 with a +.33 exposure compensation. Layer adjustments for levels, brightness/contrast and hue saturation. Looked a little dull yet so I did a curves adjustment to brighten it a bit. Cloned/healed dust spots. Distortion and pin cushion distortion corrections. Shot in vertical orientation I rotated 90° left cause I like the flow of the image in horizontal orientation better.

Critique Club Review:

What an interesting piece. It definetly fits the challenge. I think your rotation of the image really worked. (Yes I did twist my head around to see it the other way.) Focus, depth of field are all good.

About teh only thing I see that might have stopped you from making the top 10, is the picture comes across as a little cold. By that I mean the colors are a little muted and voters here seem to go for more saturated, brighter colors. Having said that, personally I like this picture a lot, and think it is fine the way it is. Had I voted on this challenge, it would have received and 8 or 9 from me.
