 This is a photo of a glass block with light from a window hitting it. I made a few adjustments in RAW mostly increasing contrast then converted to JPEG where I adjusted for neutral gray, converted to black and white, cloned out debris, used NeatImage and USM.

Hmmm. Met the challenge but I didnt really enjoy this abstract overall. I gave a 4 on this in challenge. The soft focus and grey tones didnt grab me.

Definitely met the challenge well. I like the dark void that starts near the center at the top then runs down toward the right side.

I thought this was a great abstract and gave it a 7 in voting. I love the black and white! And it's aptly named, as it does remind me quite a bit of a nightmare. I see at least one skeletal face in there!

love the semi-focus and the old style black and white feel. a truly haunting abstract. something sad and desperate about it. 10
