Well, am not holding out hopes for this shot,  Talj challenged me to a mobile phone shot and this was the best I could come up with. It was a pain to shoot, Jimmy no mates here does another self portrait and it goes like this ...
glasses on, sets self timer (yes on a cam phone) climbs over tripod (the W800i is attached via blu tack) removes glasses, dons hat, picks up saxamaphone (thanks Homer) hits shutter then sits down and 'strikes the pose'. Gets up, puts down saxamaphone (I love that word) removes hat, dons glasses, climbs over tripod, views image, deletes it cos its carp then starts again . The final image was created during an advert break when 'Malt' and 'Grain' came to mind then the 'blues' completed it for me, am hoping this gets to 5.6 or above :) |

wow.. Its amazing that such an awesome pic was taking by a mobile..
Hell, now I won't be ashamed to take my own mobile pics forward. |

Well done Andi :o) Am not sure how much pleasure you can take in beating me by .03 but am sure you'll have a bigger smile than I have when you wake up :o(
Nice shot btw, I like the editing, composition IMHO is good...no bits sticking up where they shouldn't be ;o)

| Before I read the title I was worried this was a grainy pic mistake, but the title definitely completes the image. Nice image, I like the blueish tint |

| Nice composition. It might have been just as effective wiothout the bottle and glass but I do think they add something to the overall image. This could be a print ad! |

mmm... oban... :)
Nice image, the composition works well though I'd like to see it with a tighter crop on the top to just at the nose of the figure, or have it include his whole head. |
