 My friend Melissa and I took her two year old nephew, Kadean, to the aquarium yesterday. Kadean went absolutely crazy for the fish and sharks, saying "WOW!" at everything and pounding on the glass yelling "STOOOOOOP!" every time a fish he was watching began to swim away. 114 shots and in typical toddler fashion he was a mere blur through every last one. I asked Melissa to pose for this shot with her hand on the glass while Kadean was distracted, but he jumped in at the last second and imitated his auntie by throwing both his hands on the glass next to her. He is sooooo two!

Ahh, the problem of capturing perpetual motion in the dark. As to lambie's comment that I should have had her hold him, well, he would have screamed his head off - it just wasn't possible for this shoot.

If the little one had not been in motion this would be better. The silhouette of the adult is fantastic!

I get what you're trying to do, but i think it could have been better. Maybe more view of the aquarium and more just the top half of the person. You could have her hold the child in arms and point. that way, you can have more view of the fish. Still, nice photo!
