This is my new buddy Tanner. I adopted him about 3 months ago and he has been a complete joy in my life and is a very photogenic model. This shot was taken at a local park in the triangle (Cary, NC) where he was maintaining a perimeter of the marshy field and the lake banks. I finally got this shot after he sat to rest but still kept watch over my friends and other dogs.

Very rich colors, quite a lot of color noise, though. Maybe a little oversaturated. Very nice idea and good silhouette, without the stick going out at the top of the picture it would have been better IMO.

The branch that crosses his nose is a little too distracting for me.

Ohhh, so close to a great image. Had that stalk not been cutting through the image and sihouette this would have been a fab image. The silhouette is nice and its set against a beautiful sky. Good effort!
