 Sorry. It's a little fuzzy from resizing it but I tried my best.

If anyone\'s wondering the shadow is the boyfriend.

Taken at Colt State Park in Rhode Island. I took A LOT of shadow shots but this one was my favorite.

Hoping for my first ribbon here!! : )

Interesting composition. Unfortunately, this doesn't really fit the challenge because you canm't get a silhouette with the light source behind the camera.

I voted this image down for a few reasons. First, it is a shadow and not a silhouette. Second, it is just too much of a snap shot. Sorry :(

Its a shadow, not a silhouette. Beyond that, your shadow and your model are competing for attention. I would have preferred a better pose for her -- perhaps looking up at the camera? Also, I don't think the empty space around here is working for you here. The patchy lawn is very distracting.

You've probably been told this already but... a shadow is not the same thing as silhouette. Silhouettes become dark because they are light from behind. In other words, the light is in front of the camera, beyond the subject, lighting the subject from behind. And it is typically so bright that if you adjust your exposure for the lighting in the background, the subject goes black.

Since many peoples are complaining about not knowing why they have a low score I decided to comment on every pictures that I scored below 5.

I gave this picture a 4 mainly because it does not meet the challenge, your picture is a shadow, not a silhouettes
