This is quite a nice composition but the hanging basket in front of the mans face is rather distracting and spoils things somewhat.

I've found a lot of movies in this challenge that I am now going to have to go rent. My eyes keep being drawn to the people on the deck but the plant covering the guy in the white shirts face is kind of distracting. Not a lot that you could do since they probably wouldn't take kindly to you tossing their plant in the water. Overall though very nice.

The stark white sky really kills this for me. I know (believe me, I know) they are hard to avoid sometimes.

A nice photo of the setting from the movie but it doesn't feel like a recreation of the scene to me.

Wasn't it in b/w?

Would have been better in B&W.

i've not seen the film, so I don't know how closely this recreates it. The "characters" are pretty obscured. Wow, that guy has a red face.

this picture is a stretch, the composition isn't very good and it should've been in black and white . . . would've taken it up a notch. sorry.

Nice idea. Would've worked better with a working-class dock as opposed to one with private sailboats. Also, wasn't the original B&W?
