 Ever since Self Portrait IV when _eug told me I looked like Al Pacino in Serpico I have been told that atleast a dozen times since. I think this scene isn't very well known and I should have picked something else but he only had a goatee in the movie for about 2 min. In this scene he is taking a bath with his girlfriend, but somehow I don't think "Serpico takes a Bath" was a very good title, hehe. I hope I don't take the brown in the challenge I suggested, lol.
converted in raw, USM, shadow/highlight layer. then slective color, curves, channel mixer, curves, hue saturation, brightness/contrast, selective color. save for web, I don't think serpico gets neat image.
here is a side by side of the shot I was going for.

For worrying about getting the brown, you certainly placed well. Very good likeness to Al Pacino's character. Even without the connection to the movie, this is a great self portrait with excellent lighting and lots of intense emotion. Good job!

I don't know that this screams out "Serpico" to me, other than the resemblence to Pacino. But it has been a LONG time since I have seen the movie. It is an excellent photo otherwise. The muted colors and the shadowy lighting are great.

Have not even heard about this movie, but I like the shot a lot. It has a great cinematographic feel to it. And the black strips (i don't know about legality of those in basic :)) are a nice touch. Good luck!

you know man, you look like the guy from Deuce Bigalow, you know, the 'fishy, fishy, fishy guy' you also look like Al Pacino! You also look like Alex Saberi! Nah, actually you look more like Rocky BEFORE his coach died...perfect rendition and great for this challenge Alex. I think you are up against some tough competition...I'll giuve you a deserved 10 for this
