 Currituck Lighthouse at dusk in the Outer Banks of NC. Due to my laptop having an unfortunate run in with a 6 yr old while on this trip, I was only able to perform curves, crop/rotate, smart blur & USM. All the other functions seem to be off the side of the 2ndary screen & I was unable to use them until the laptop screen is replaced. I was fairly happy with the results even though my editing options were even MORE basic than the site restricts it to in the open challenges.

The sky is very nice and the lighthouse is interesting, but I think this could use some compositional balance to tone down the busyness.

too much black for my taste... I can't focus my attention on a precise point and the picture loses in impact.

the major detracting feature in this photo is amount of darkness at the bottom. the good silhouette of the tree branches and lighthouse are swallowed up by the bottom 20% of the pic. 5.

nice how the lighthouse breaks up the dark silhouette.

Nice sihouette but it seems to busy becuase of the trees >.<
