Try #1: Was initially hoping to try and catch the flame as it came out of the barrel for the fire challenge. Though unfortunately for me a 0.22 rifle doesn't produce any flame!

Try #2: Was hoping to get a shot of the bullet. Though with my setup and camera that was never going to happen

Try #3: Tried to get a shot of the shell as it flew out of the chamber ... 45 rounds later I was able to get a few off that turned out ok. Would have like to have more depth perception (more room on the top of the shot) though I didn't have enough black felt to cover the whole room. Liked the capture in the end but I have a feeling that voters aren't going to understand what they are looking at.

Photoshop:
Level adjust
Colour adjust (originally the gun was more orange than red)
Cloned out a horible over exposure from the flash on the handle
Cloned out a few bits of dust and what not on the gun
