Here is a Valentine's picture 1 minute before the shot... She is always playing an running everywhere, she never stops!
She is always laughing a lot, but not as in picture above, it was the first time I could catch a resting, smooth and calm smile like this one, I took the picture when she turned her face to me, I had about one second to shoot her, the second after she was running and playing again.

It's true she was not lying, sitting, sleeping ... at rest. But she really was at rest after playing and running everywhere, it was the first time I seen this expression on her face ... and it lasted only 1 second ...
Thank you very much all for your kind comments, I am very happy. |

Yes you are right, I don't know how to do it (after shot) I had only 1 or 2 seconds to take the shot, and it was difficult to manage hair removing. Although I don't seen it at the shooting time (due to fact I had to shoot very quickly to catch this expression, If she was posing I would had the time to remove it). I would like to know how to remove it in the final picture, does someone can help me (Photosho or Photoshop Elements).
Thanks a lot.

Thank you very much for your comments, I tried and you're right, it's better. Do you know how to remove the hair from her mouth (Photoshop or photoshop elements).
Thank you for sharing your experience and knowledge with us.

Valentine is a very kind but unruly niece, she was playing and running a lot before the shoot, she really stopped and stayed at rest against the tree for 1 or 2 seconds, I took around 20 pictures before this one, and you would see it's completely different.
She was not posing, but resting tired of playing a lot... I can't catch this expression on her face anymore, unless I am lucky ...
Anyway the main goal was to give a calm mood around the shoot.
Thank you for your comment.

I think that is not really an issue, it's certainly due to the canon teleobjectif, at F4.0 and at long it is a really small range for DOF.
Thank you for your comment

A very nice photo. Maybe not exactly at rest, but the over all look of the subject, with her head resting, is restful to me. I don't know.....maybe it has something to do with being a grandmother. :) Clarity and composition are great. |
