Did not really get any time to go out and shoot for any challenge this month. This is the candid I shot while giving some photograpy tips to one of my friend who recently bought a new digital camera. Unable to find any time to shoot, I browsed through the candids taken over month of August and this is the one which I think is the best amongt them. I'm not too happy with the submission, but my compulsive urge to submit something after missing out on few challenges made to upload this one. I just hope this does not bring down my average score.

Too add to it, the image is saved at image quality of 69% to meet the size of 200KB....sigh.

Anyway, this is a candid shot of a tourist resting on stone at Qutab Minar in New Delhi. It was a hot afternoon and the bright clothes made good contrast with rough dark stone walls.

Post processing -

This is going to be 539'th sumission for this challenge and its being submitted at 11:44PM IST on 31'st August :)
Thats it!

This would be better if the model were contemplating something in the other direction or she were on the right-hand side of the frame. Also, the blobs framing the shot are distracting and should be cropped out. (A portrait 4x6 crop should do it.)

I think if you had less space behind her so that she isn't looking out of the frame so much this might have been a better way to compose this shot. Also, maybe a more of her face. I know how hard it is to shoot strangers but I like her completely unaware posture. Your lighting/exposure is great.

seems like it need to be cropped tighter to remove the black objects from either side ...

I'm sure I would have liked the photo better without the woman in the shot but that's just me. Nice focus.

Love the color of the rocks/blocks - very rich. Lovely clarity. Would like the thing on the right cropped. Don't mind the one on the left so much.

I like the colors in this, would have liked to see a little more of her face to show her contemplation.

Great colors. I would suggest cropping to remove the black things (bits of people?) on the sides, as they're a bit distracting and don't serve to frame the subject when there's already so little of them shown.

What great colors! This one is really good. I think I can see a little bit of a soft brush from a mask in photoshop right above the front of her hat. I could be totally wrong, but it stood out to me. Anyway, nice going. Great colors!
