 Could have submitted for Stop Motion, so I'll try it here. Had a fun morning at the pier on Naples beach. Got good practice at taking the pelicans at 200 mm zoom. This and a few others came out pretty nicely.

Good work! Very sharp and good stopped motion! The background is a bit blah, but I don't suppose the bird would take direction well! :)

bad contrast between bird and background...5...otherwise good clear shot.

Technical: great contrast, great coloring, nice composition
Creativity: it's a bird with the water...not too creative, but the fact that you actually have the bridge in the background helps greatly!
Personal Opinion: i like it, it's not the average bird in challenges...but it is still pretty sweet!

Composition: 7 - Good amount of space on the right for it to fly into. Nice choice.
Technical: 7 - Nice warm lighting, but the bird gets a bit lost against the wood in the background which is the same colour. Maybe a shallowed DoF would help a bit?
Creativity: 6 - Saying that, the background makes a nice change from usual shots like this.
Appeal: 6
