Wonderful lighting. Love the expression on this girl and the body position. Good use of the simple background. The border really enhances the shot.

her face, though highly expressive, is ambiguous. she could be afraid, or sad, or just anxious. I see this as a metaphor for growing up, skating into the unknown. That's why it is appropriate that there is so much space in front of her, and it's "blacked out" by that curtain. 10

LOOKS A LITTLE FLAT. TRY INCREASEING THE CONTRAST AND MAYBE A LITTLE SATURATION.

Composition: 6 - Nice composition but I think there's just slightly too much empty space on the right.
Technical: 5 - Could do with a small application of USM to sharpen it slightly, and a small levels adjustment to stop it looking quite so 'washed out' imo.
Creativity: 6 - I like how she's looking out of the frame, making us wonder what has caught her attention.
Appeal: 5
