Remember the rule of thirds when composing a photo. The main subject should be on either side or top or bottom third of the frame. |

I think if you had cropped it with the tree on the left side it would've closed off that side keeping the viewers attention from wandering.
I like the way the cow seems to poke out of the shadows... nicely done... except for the crop. |

Thats an adorable cow. yes, moo. I like the decision to go black and white, and the branch of the tree across the sky. |

I think I can see what you wanted to achieve with the composition but foe me it just does not work in monochrome |
