Spotted these flowers in the garden this morning and I thought they would fit the challenge well. Took out my trusty P&S and just snapped away.

Thanks for the comments. Too bad I don't have Photoshop at home so this was basically a raw entry. Kinda last minute, too.

I submitted my latest entry yesterday; that one was pretty well cleaned up and sharpened. Probably dnfc though.

Nice vibrant color. I think it would be more dramatic with just one flower, but this is still cool!

Even if the flower on the right is well composed according to the third rule as it is the other one and the distance between their centers my immediate feeling is not a of third rule composition.
I think it is due to the fact that the central part of the shot is still so interesting with the petals overlap, making the shot to be perceived as a symmetric one.
