Roseate skimmer dragonfly at the park near my house. I had been wanting to do a full day of dragonfly photos for a while and thought I might be able to get one to fit this challenge.
The ones at this park are so used to people being around that you can get rather close to them for photos.
I had about 5 other shots I debated between for the challenge but settled on this one because it stands out so well from the background.
Hope it is well received!

this looks a little oversharpened IMO, lovely shot but a little too sharp.

Focus looks just a tad funny to me...maybe my eyes are getting tired? Awesome use of rule of thirds...thanks for that...8

Great subject matter, but I think it's oversharpened? All of the edges look kinda tweaky. Other than that, looks cool! Nice color.

i enjoy the weighted composition of ur photo - but perhaps just a tad overzealous with the use of negative space? the detail on the branch is wonderful, but i keep wishing the dragonfly's color had a greater presence
