Love the mood but the bridge is distracting, maybe a bit of it could be cropped out. It pulls my eye from the boys, xhich is a very nice shot :)

Cute and nicely spotted. I have to disagree with color, it doesnt fit here IMO. I would crop it verticaly, boys and bridge. Would make much stronger picture.

Man, finally a shot I can sink my teeth into. only the second 8+ after, let's see, 162 votes. Sepia was a great choice. The props are excellent and the composition is nice. Personally I would have tried to squeeze just a bit more sharpness out of it, but I fully realize I'm a total sharpness hound and not everybody else has the same feeling. 8 for now, could bump later.

Yours is a timeless image, in that boys and fishing will be around as long as both exist. The tones are nice. Good work.

Another fishing shot!
But this is really different! Two kids, two friends, maybe two brothers? So similar and so different. Fishing is not the pleasure here, going some where with a friend is! Fishing could be anything else; it is just a case, an accident. To me this shot is about friendship and this is why I like it.

I'm afraid for the unpleasant, all in focus background that makes beautiful an otherwise wonderful shot.

Gave you a 5, but if the subjects were cropped just a bit more to the left and not close to center, it would have been a 6. Even a bit more contrast may have landed you a 7.
