He still looks at as alert and fast moving as he does when he flies.

Hummingbirds are so hard to catch still as they move about so quickly. This has wonderful color and DOF and the branch is a great leading line. This is superb ! My first and looking like only 10

bird exquisitely captured and a wonderfully alert eye, but the twig bisects the pic a little

Neat how it looks like the world is fluttering quickly by and not the bird.
It's all relative 'eh!

Nice use of low DOF. Good composition and I like the way the angle of the beak and branch mirror each other.

I love this shot. A guaranteed ribbon in my book. I commend your patience to take pictures of hummnigbirds. Do you know what species? Almost looks like a juvenile. I love how branches in the foreground and background are very fuzzy. Puts lots of emphasis on bird and dead branch. Nice work! Keep it up.

The rear and front blurs make the image for me. Visually, this is a really interesting photo, and gets my votes' top score.

SUPERB!!!! I really, really love this shot. The colors, the depth of field, the composition with the bird at the far right -- exceptional. Okay, I had you an 8 -- now I am thinking you should be a 10.

Nice nature shot. Good color, contrast and I love the composition the way you put the subject off to the lower right with the branch running linearly accross the bottom and the blurred brown object in the top left. Good job!

Good focus and depth of field. Great composition. I like the color. I'll bet it was a challenge just getting a shot of the little guy.

Sure is resting?, It doesn´t meet the challenge

Very sharp nice capture.

Nicely on the thirds, however I might have cropped it to get rid of the blurry red object in top left - it does pull the eye away from the bird.

But in flight you do get to see the incredible colour in the wings. So at rest they look a bit drab.
