While on vacation I photographed many whitetail deer that were wandering around the resort. Sadly, they aren't nearly as fit as the antlers suggest they ought to be. People are feeding these deer from their porches and the deer are not only unfazed by human presence but they will occasionally approach someone if they think the person has food for them. Their bodies are about half the size of the whitetail deer I am accustomed to seeing in the wild. Some of the deer have a hoof-curl disease, which is apparently a result of un-natural feeding habits.

Also, I took this photo while the remnants of a tropical storm were approaching. It was *very* windy and most of the deer were bedding down.

Perfect use of 3rds but the focus is going to hurt your over-all score. Hey, it's about learning huh? I know I've got a lot to learn...good luck to ya.

Your image appears to be out of focus and could use some post processing work to boost the colors and contrast.

The animals in nature are very hard subject specially if you need to get close. I think because of zooming you lost some focus also your object is pretty covered with branches that doesnt make so appealing photo.
