This was a special request of this babies mom. SHe saw how her older son cradled her new son's head in his hands and asked me to re-create the memory for her from her persective at the time, which the the adoarble top of his head. I love the way it turned out, because as moms, this is often what we see, the top of our babies heads as we cradle them on our shoulder. Baby heads are just too sweet.

Oh, but the top of a newborn's head is such a sweet spot!...Perhaps the shot would be improved by a slightly different perspective to include a glimpse of the baby's face, but nonetheless, this image captures a real sense of tenderness. The cradling of the head by the little hands is precious and your DOF provides a nice softness that enhances the tender moment.

A little too akward for my likeing..
try a different angle..
The composition takes away the "liveliness" of the photo..
This photo should portray joy and love .. but a shot from the top of the head doesn't really show that..

The technique is good .. but not the composition..
Keep in mind the story you want to tell.. :)
