I was going for something super simplistic, almost a snapshot and I think I got it. THe light is almost too bright, but I wanted it that way. I wish I could have shown more of the tree she's sitting on, but then I wouldn't have been able to get the edge of the brick building in the background. TO me it looks very country-town-life-ish; and a very simple pleasure. Makes me smile anyways. I toyed with the idea of desaturating it, but thought it looked too dramatic for the idea of simplicity.

Very cute. The candy necklace is a nice touch. It looks a bit blown out in the lighter areas - a good way to combat this is to use a circular polarizing filter.

Ahhh, the candy necklace! I used to LOVE those. The ice cream blends in too much with her shirt but cute shot.
