 This picture was taken at Funland in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. I was attempting to use a panning technique to capture blur and the sense of movement. I took over 20 shots of the kids on various rides in both daylight and night time, and this one was the best of their faces. Next time, I would probably add in fill-flash to make their faces appear brighter.

Slight color correction (due to mixed light of flourescent and sun and no grey card/expodisc available at the time) and cropping in Photoshop

Terror and excitment all in one, really nice! I wish the focus on the girl in green was a little sharper but overall I love the expressions and the blurred background gives a great sense of movement. 7
