 Rotate, crop, NI, SUSM, hue/sat, save for web.

Shot near the road by the ranch (about 15 miles south of Brush, Colorado). The dirt roads leading there were lined on both sides with hundreds of sunflowers. I took this in the late afternoon as the sun was begining to set. I liked the dramatic colors and lighting of this time of day- created some very nicely defined shadows and highlights.

Meets the challenge well, over all I find the composition a bit busy which prevents me from focusing on the main subject.

For me, the placement of the second largest flower is perfect. It's the closest one that is bothering me for some reason...sorry...I'm not much help.

Nice compisition, but could be better with less depth of field I guess, or may be more depth of filed.
